CAAZAP\u00c1. Con participaci\u00f3n de diversas instituciones p\u00fablicas, este martes se dio inicio a una minga ambiental en el barrio San Roque de la ciudad de Caazap\u00e1, con el objetivo de prevenir y frenar un brote de leishmaniasis detectado recientemente en caninos de la zona.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

La actividad es impulsada por el Servicio Nacional de Erradicaci\u00f3n del Paludismo (SENEPA), en coordinaci\u00f3n con la Municipalidad de Caazap\u00e1 y el despacho de la Primera Dama Distrital, con el acompa\u00f1amiento de la Sexta Regi\u00f3n Sanitaria, el Instituto de Previsi\u00f3n Social (IPS), la Administraci\u00f3n Nacional de Electricidad (ANDE), el Poder Judicial, la Gobernaci\u00f3n, adem\u00e1s de universidades como la Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias y la Facultad de Veterinaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante el acto de apertura, autoridades locales destacaron la importancia del trabajo interinstitucional para hacer frente a esta problem\u00e1tica sanitaria. La Primera Dama Distrital, Fany Lorena Acosta de D\u00edaz, subray\u00f3 la necesidad de la cooperaci\u00f3n entre instituciones y la ciudadan\u00eda para lograr resultados efectivos en la lucha contra la enfermedad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, t\u00e9cnicos de SENEPA explicaron que la leishmaniasis es una enfermedad transmitida por un vector que prolifera en ambientes h\u00famedos y con acumulaci\u00f3n de materia org\u00e1nica, como hojas, basura y desechos en descomposici\u00f3n. En ese sentido, insistieron en la eliminaci\u00f3n de criaderos como principal medida preventiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TRABAJO CASA POR CASA<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Funcionarios de SENEPA realizar\u00e1n recorridos casa por casa en el barrio intervenido, no solo para recolectar residuos, sino tambi\u00e9n para brindar orientaci\u00f3n a los pobladores sobre la enfermedad, su forma de transmisi\u00f3n y las medidas de prevenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asimismo, se inst\u00f3 a los vecinos a colaborar activamente sacando sus residuos, eliminando objetos inservibles y permitiendo el ingreso de las brigadas a sus viviendas para facilitar el trabajo de limpieza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

INTERVENCI\u00d3N SEMANAL<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

El intendente municipal, Amado D\u00edaz Ver\u00f3n, destac\u00f3 que la minga ambiental tendr\u00e1 continuidad cada martes en distintos barrios de la ciudad, incluyendo zonas suburbanas y asentamientos, con el fin de contener la propagaci\u00f3n del vector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEste es un trabajo preventivo que busca erradicar este mal que comienza a afectar a nuestra comunidad. Vamos a seguir interviniendo en otros sectores hasta cubrir toda la ciudad\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El jefe comunal tambi\u00e9n apel\u00f3 al compromiso ciudadano, se\u00f1alando que el \u00e9xito de la campa\u00f1a depender\u00e1 en gran medida de la participaci\u00f3n activa de la poblaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ALERTA SANITARIA<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Las autoridades recordaron que, si bien el brote fue detectado en animales, la leishmaniasis representa un riesgo para la salud humana, por lo que se considera clave actuar de manera anticipada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalmente, reiteraron el llamado a la ciudadan\u00eda a mantener limpios sus patios, evitar la acumulaci\u00f3n de residuos y sumarse a las mingas ambientales como una forma de proteger la salud comunitaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
